Confirm your placement and submit your Medicare provider number applications before 3 June

A reminder to confirm your placement through the TMS Placement Portal and organise a Medicare Provider Number by no later than 3 June. This allows time for RACGP teams to work with Services Australia to ensure your MPN is allocated prior to the start of the semester.

Express your interest in a 2025 Education Research Grant before 31 May

Expressions of interest for the 2025 Education Research Grant program are open until 31 May. Awarded annually, the Education Research Grant offers researchers an opportunity to fund their project, collaborate with peers and make a meaningful contribution to the future of general practice training in Australia. Grants of up to $150,000 are available for eligible projects. Find out about the 2025 research priority areas and submit your expression of interest here. 

Applications for a fully funded academic post in 2025 are now open!

The Academic Post Program is a fantastic opportunity to make lasting connections with leading academic institutions and build the foundation for a career in academia or medical education. Successful applicants will partner with a university to teach medical students and develop a research project in an area of general practice that interests them, while completing their clinical training concurrently.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander exam support webinar

We’re pleased to announce the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander exam support webinar for GPT1, GPT2 and GPT 3 registrars, designed to share the resources available to support you throughout exams. 

This webinar is specifically for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander registrars and is led by our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander National Medical Education and Exam Support teams.
