Flex funds available for supervisor professional development

Each year, the Australian Government provides a flexible pool of funds to the RACGP to build capacity for GP training in certain prioritised workforce locations, and to support continuing professional development for GP training supervisors. These funds are available in addition to the Nationally Consistent Payments (NCP) provided by Services Australia. 

Our new Flexible Funds policy defines the principles, requirements and application of the RACGP’s use of flexible funds across Australia. Further details can also be found in the Flexible Funds guidelines and the updated guidelines for Supervisor professional development requirements and payments.  

We encourage you to read the new guidelines and let supervisors at your practice know about this additional professional development funding.
