Progress testing and exam support

The Self-Assessment Progress Testing (SAPT) is for AGPT registrars to identify their learning needs, self-assess their progress in knowledge and clinical reasoning through training, experience exam question format and to assist them in written exam preparation. The SAPT also contains tips and resources for your AKT and KFP preparation. 

There will be four SAPTs released each year, two per training term (March and May in 2023.1).

We currently have four RLOs confirmed for 2023 and recruitment and confirmation is underway for all other States and Territories. 

Placements Calendar - Term 2

The 2023.2 practice placement dates are now confirmed. The registrar confirmation and placement process commences several months prior to the start of the term, to ensure that the RACGP has your next training term on record.  

All registrars are required to complete the registrar placement confirmation survey.  

Registrars who confirm their existing placements for 2023.2 will be excluded from the remainder of the placement process. Those registrars who identify their need for a placement for 2023.2 will continue through the process.  

All placement activities will take place via the Training Management System (TMS). We will provide information on what will need to be completed and share ‘how to’ videos in the lead up to each activity deadline.
