Medicare Provider Numbers – Apply now for Semester 2023.2 placements

The placement process is almost complete, and your focus now needs to be on applying for your Medicare Provider Numbers (MPN) if you haven't already.

Medicare Provider numbers are due by 12th June 2023.

Please note: Late application of the provider number forms will result in you (the registrar) being unable to start in your placement. This can lead to a period of unpaid leave from the training program for you (the registrar) and lost income for the practice.

Contact your Training Coordinator as a matter of priority if you are finalising your next placement and have questions about the MPN process.

Crazy Socks for Docs - Friday 2 June 2023

Crazysocks4docs Day is held every year on the first Friday of June. This day is all about raising awareness of the mental health of all doctors and health practitioners around the world and driving positive change via action!

We encourage you to wear your crazy socks on 2 June and learn how else you can get involved #crazysocks4docs

2023 Health of the Nation survey

The Health of the Nation survey is now open, and you are invited to add your voice to the survey:

This year’s topic of interest is 'attracting and retaining the general practice workforce' giving members an opportunity to contribute and help the RACGP build a powerful evidence-based advocacy tool.

The survey will close at 11.59pm (AEST) 31 May 2023.
