GPs celebrated on Queen’s Birthday Honours List

GPs from across Australia have been recognised for their valuable contributions to the nation’s healthcare.

The Queen’s Birthday 2021 Honours List recognised 1190 Australians.

Correction: This article was updated at 11.30 am on Tuesday 15 June to include Emeritus Professor Colin Binns; it was updated again at 5.35 pm on Wednesday 16 June to include Commander Chloe Ryan, Wing Commander Collette Richards and Rear Admiral Jennifer Firman.

A number of the country’s GPs, including former RACGP President Dr Claire Jackson, are among those named on this year’s Queen’s Birthday 2021 Honours List.
