The RACGP has produced its first digital annual report for 2017–18, helping to demonstrate the college’s position as a leader in digital innovation.

‘This is an exciting milestone in the RACGP’s history,’ RACGP CEO Dr Zena Burgess said.

‘Creating a refreshed and modern digital annual report was an essential step forward for our organisation.’

The online Annual report 2017–18 provides members with full and transparent access to the RACGP’s achievements and highlights over the past 12 months. It features an interactive timeline of the period, and includes profiles of the RACGP’s Expert Committees and Faculties.

Members of the RACGP Council – including the President, Chief Executive Officer, Censor-in-Chief, and Chair of the Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee – also reflect on the college’s achievements throughout 2017–18.

A corporate governance statement and statutory report are also included, as well as an overview of the RACGP awards and honours from the GP17 conference.

A snapshot of key statistics and figures that made up the RACGP in 2017–18 reflects the 39,000 members represented by the college.

The digital annual report is a key step towards the RACGP’s plans to implement its new Environmental and Social Governance investment policy and invest with consideration for ethical, environmental, corporate governance and social issues.

‘The RACGP has made overt efforts in this respect,’ Dr Burgess told newsGP. ‘The college has also endeavoured to “go green” by transitioning member communications and official documentation, such as annual reports and meeting minutes, to digital formats wherever possible.’

The RACGP Annual report 2017–18 is available on the RACGP website.
