Q&A from webinar on bulk-billing incentives
The RACGP has published
written responses to questions asked by attendees at April’s
webinar on MBS bulk-billing incentives, presented by the Department of Health and Aged Care.
The questions received cover a broad range of MBS topics including patient eligibility for bulk-billing incentives and how to verify this, billing multiple MBS items on the same day, split billing, MyMedicare and MBS complexity. Responses have been grouped together under common themes for ease of reading. For other Medicare educational resources, visit the
RACGP website.
RACGP Faculty elections: reminder to vote
Voting for the RACGP Faculty elections is still open for contested electorates, and closes 9 September, 12.00 pm (AEST).
The RACGP encourages all eligible members of the contested electorates to vote, have their say on the future of the college, and ensure the views and voice of their general practice community are heard.
Elected Faculty Council members will be announced on 11 September. More information on voting eligibility, how to vote and to view the candidate statements, is available on the
elections webpage.
