TGA announces eye drop shortages
The TGA has issued advice that timoptol-XE/timoptol eye drops are currently unavailable. Timoptol is indicated for care of patients receiving treatment for glaucoma.
 
Supply of timoptol is expected to remain impacted until 31 March 2025 due to commercial changes and viability. Timoptol-XE supply will be impacted until 30 April 2025 due to manufacturing issues.
