Lead the GP team in delivering multidisciplinary primary care, urgent care, and emergency services to the Galiwin’ku community (population approx: 2,500).
Key Focus Areas
- Provide acute care and manage chronic conditions.
- Educate and mentor clinical staff and Aboriginal Health Practitioners.
- Participate in health promotion, research, and public health advocacy.
- Foster quality improvement in health systems and services.
Collaboration
Work closely with internal clinical teams and external health service providers.
Supervision
Oversee clinical care, support medical learners, and guide admin staff on Medicare processes.

Competitive Compensation:
- $315,000 per annum

Essential Requirements:
This role involves working in remote Aboriginal communities, so applicants must demonstrate a commitment to Aboriginal Community Control, self-determination, and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by Yolŋu people. You must have:
- A current Registration and Practicing Certificate as a Medical Practitioner through AHPRA
- Extensive experience in General Practice or rural/remote healthcare settings
