The awards honour the outstanding work of individuals and general practices across Australia.

GPs, supervisors, GPs in training and general practices across Australia were nominated for outstanding work on the healthcare frontline.

‘Australians access general practice more than any other area of the health system, and while GPs receive all kinds of acknowledgements from their patients, it is important to formally celebrate this work and dedication to holistic patient care,’ then-RACGP President Dr Harry Nespolon told newsGP when nominations opened in May.

The annual RACGP Awards recognise the value of all contributing individuals and practices.
