This paper describes the lived experience of those dealing with infertility, particularly the emotional challenges, to help GPs support their patients throughout treatment and beyond.

General practitioners’ ability to promptly recognise potentially serious side effects of treatment, especially those unique to newer therapies, can be crucial to patient safety.
