The pandemic presented many challenges for general practice but also new opportunities for students to learn and contribute in practice.
This paper shares the perspectives of early-career general practitioners (GPs) and rural generalists about the barriers, motivators and enablers to becoming a GP supervisor.
Understanding the sophisticated craft and practical skills of generalist care could help both GPs and health policy makers value, respect and navigate the challenges of this complex important work.
